Encaustic Art

This is painting with wax using a hot encaustic iron to melt the encaustic wax block.

Lorna-Ann is a full time carer and is creative for personal benefits and in order to make money for the charity Open Doors http://www.opendoorsuk.org/. It is also very important to Lorna-Ann that she encourages others to be open to developing their own creativity, to be valued and enthused by sharing making skills and passing these on.

Extreme Knitting and Crocheting

Lorna-Ann has a strong up-cycling philosophy and prepares for her Extreme Knitting by rolling up old wool (unravelled jumpers/left over wooletc) into 4ply to even 10ply to makes scarves that are very popular. Some of which are also sent abroad to orphanages etc in Romania. Husband Graham makes the large knitting needles and these too are sold.
