Exhibition at Habitat, King's Road, London 

until 28th April


Five former graduates from Central Saint Martin's College of Art and Design each tackle the weaving medium in new and interpretive ways with interesting and exciting results!


 
The exhibition explores new technologies and different approaches to design that demonstrate surprising innovation within this versatile tradition.

 At the heart of the exhibition is work produced by Philippa Thorne who produces incredible woven vessels and baskets from Swaziland, where she is now based. Thorne merges traditional African making methods with contemporary design. The result is sculptural and vibrant pieces.
